Autism Family Group:

A monthly support group providing education and networking opportunities for families supporting individuals with Autism. This group is a collaboration between Berkshire County Arc, United Cerebral Palsy, and Community Resources for People with Autism. ††

Down Syndrome Family Group:

Was founded in 2006 and aims to support people with Down syndrome by fundraising, educating, building natural supports and having fun.

Service Navigation:

For families with a need for and interest in intensive time-limited or ongoing assistance to address specific areas of need. Extended navigation is a closed referral service that must be authorized by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS).

Information & Referral:

Assists families in identifying resources and service options available in the local community, and providing guidance on how to navigate the service system.

Parent Networking:

Promote parent networking and mentoring, facilitate parent support groups, as well as parental involvement in organizing and leading events and activities.

Family Trainings:

Arrange or co-sponsor educational events and trainings on relevant topics of interest to families.


Spring and Summer camps, as well as other events throughout the year.

Resource Library:

Create and maintain a library of resources with relevant information for familiesí needs.
