Berkshire County Arc Chief Operating Officer was awarded the national U.S. Arc’s 2019 NCE Exemplary Mentor Award in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 14, and the Mass. Provider’s Council Award of Excellence one week before that.
At the ARC event, Hyatt told the crowd, “I have always believed that I have a responsibility as a professional woman to provide an accessible path so other women have opportunities to bring forward their natural talents and develop the proficiencies necessary to go beyond internal and external professional limits.”
As COO over 800-plus employees at BCArc, she has worked to transcend countless young women from entrance level human service providers into full-blown leaders during the past 30 years of her career.
At the Massachusetts event, attended by 1,200 human service providers, Hyatt shared the stage with Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
