Berkshire County Arc’s Advantage Employee Network Student Featured as Visual Artist of the Month at That’s A Wrap Cafe

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (January 17, 2017) – Berkshire County Arc’s (BCArc) Advantage Employee Network (AEN) local Pittsfield High School student, Andrew LaPatin,  is featured as the Visual Artist of the Month at That’s A Wrap Café on Fenn Street in Pittsfield, MA for the month of January.

Andrew has completed a commissioned wall mural at East Elm Pediatrics, volunteers at Elder Services of Berkshire County, is a PCTV Production volunteer for the Berkshire Senior Program, and was a clerical intern at the Berkshire Theatre Group.

BCArc’s Advantage Employee Network has been assisting Andrew in career exploration, assessment and School-to-Career supports.

Rick Hawes, Director of AEN, said “it’s always a great feeling when individuals are accepted into the community and supported on this level where they can show their growth and individuality in their passions”.

An artist reception will be held on Monday, January 30 from 4-6 p.m. for a meet and greet with Andrew LaPatin at That’s A Wrap Café on Fenn Street in Pittsfield, MA where community members can learn more about Andrew’s artistic talents and passion for his craft.
