About Us
Transitions is a BCArc community-based day service for young adults aged 17-25 with disabilities.

Our Goals

The goal is to teach individuals workplace and life skills that will help them to achieve a more independent lifestyle.

Some of the topics that are addressed are self-advocacy, pre-vocational skills, human rights, emergency awareness, volunteer experiences, business tours, and community exploration.

Interview skills, including mock interviews

Conflict resolution in the workplace

Learning to take constructive criticism

Volunteering

Decision making and independence

Socialization Skills
